《再见曼德拉》观后感 英文！！！

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born on 18 July 1918, he is a South African politician who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999, the first ever to be elected in a fully representative democratic election. Before being elected President, Mandela was a militant anti-apartheid activist, and the leader and co-founder of Umkhonto we Sizwe, the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC). In 1962 he was arrested and convicted of sabotage and other charges, and sentenced to life imprisonment. Mandela went on to serve 27 years in prison, spending many of these years on Robben Island. Following his release from prison on 11 February 1990, Mandela led his party in the negotiations that led to the establishment of democracy in 1994. As President, he frequently gave priority to reconciliation, while introducing policies aimed at combating poverty and inequality in South Africa.

Mandela was born in a poor family in South Africa.He went to school at the age of seven. Unfortunately, his father died when he was ten. But the royal offered him a chance to finish school. He studied law.
When he finished school, he found that the poor black people had no equal rights with the rich whites in South Africa ,so he started to try his best to fight for the rights of blacks. He fought against the government not by violence but with various peaceful ways .Later,he was sent into prison because of this.And just just for this,he gained nationwide respect and admiration.
But life didn’t break him. He finally came out of the prison and became the president of South Africa.
From his experiences,we can draw a sound conclusion that Mandela is a great fighter for equal rights and freedom of the blacks .In addition,he is also a peace-lover and even a real peace-maker. And this may be one of the the reasons for his winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
